Great news! In less than one week my newest book will be published and, hopefully, flying off the shelves! One can only hope. "Life is Short, Pack Your Bags Now!" is the fourth book of humor columns I've published, following the "Life is Short" trilogy. Most of the columns first appeared in Georgetown Times, Sasee, Columbia County Magazine and Salt. Check back often to read reviews, blurbs and the "Buzz about Bags." - I grew up in a shoe store (not really, but my parents owned three). I still LOVE shoes!!! Rode in Christmas parades on The Bootery float. Big hair, big gown, peau de soie shoes dyed to match, doing the beauty queen wave. Became a dental hygienist--on my first job, got the mayor's mustached tangled in my polisher. Became a writer. Less dangerous. But, less money and less job security. Was I a fool, or what? Married to Russell (Oscar the Grouch). Wrote (newest, 2016!)
